Some 20,24,192 students appeared in Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent exams under eleven education boards that ended on March 12, 2024. Now, they are waiting for the results. The waiting time is being ended soon as the results are set to be published on May 12.
Tapan Kumar Sarker, chairman of Dhaka Education Board and president of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, on April 28 announced that after the completion of the written examination, usually the results are published within 60 days. So, the results are likely to be published by May 11.
He also said the committee has sent proposals to the education ministry for selecting the possible dates of May 9, 10, and 11 to publish the result. The result will be published following the approval of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
The exams started on February 15 and concluded on March 12 while the practical exams ended on March 20.

How to make the SSC/ Dakhil results re-scrutiny
If you think you are confident about your performance and there is a mistake in your SSC Exam results, you can get an option to apply for a board challenge. The application process for re-scrutiny starts after the SSC results are published. Candidates will have one week from the results announcement and they can apply now by following the process we described.
REQUIREMENTS
- You must need a Teletalk mobile phone to apply for re-scrutiny.
- You can apply from a shop with any SIM if you have not Teletalk SIM.
- Ensure your phone has enough money (Tk 125 per subject) as an application fee.
- Subjects with two parts (like Bangla, English) will be counted as one. The fee applies to both parts.
